Again - I am ranting about my “company vision of being a rockband”…
Honestly if Toothless Tiger was a business and started to employ people, I would end up doing nothing but being a business myself. Controlling everything. Making sure that all projects was made on time. Annoy my employees because I am an entrepreneur and I want to have my say in everything.
They wouldn’t just be working in a company - they would be a crucial part of my second baby : the business Toothless Tiger.
I wouldn’t be able to trust people around me because I would be sure that people where slackers without anything else to bring to Toothless Tiger apart from their workforce ( which half of is spent on surfing the web and on facebook).
Now if I was a rockband! - I wouldn’t be a cranky boss who basically had only one function: to be the business. I don’t know if I would be the manager or the frontsinger ( or the guitarist with mystique), but I would be able to trust that everybody in the band had their own wonderful function that they did best. They did it so well, that I didn’t have to be a business. I could sit back and do what I am good at.
They would make Toothless Tiger rock ! - and in sync... so everybody had an instrument to play, in their own way.
Somebody would have to get the gigs for sure.. but we would be more of a group working towards common goals.
There’s nothing else that I want more, except for people working with me to be happy !. It is really important to me. this is my recipe to keep myself focused and happy and driving the rock band to new destinations in our bandbus =)
happy weekend ya’ll - you’re talking to one happy camper here =)

I have made a summary of transitional web apps here -
I am speaking about the subject at the 24th of May at “mobile 2.0″ arranged by FDIH together with Morten Bay and Karin Høgh
I think it’s going to be real interestering and I am looking forward to get my hands down into mobile 2.0 together with Morten and Karin

Last week the CEO (Jørgen Mads Clausen) of one of the biggest companies (Danfoss) in Denmark was quoted that ” gender quotas in boards of directors makes less qualified ladies take the place of more qualified men”..
my first thought was ” what a neandertal way of thinking”….
I am wondering if they are taking the place of more qualified people or women for that sake ?…
I mean more qualified men ? this is a top executive stating this… I don’t want to get into the whole feminism/equal right for both genders discussion, because I am way past that ! - I believe that even though there are two genders, there’s a lot of qualified individuals around…
of course, a board of directors shouldn’t be forced to take a less qualified person to the board because of the gender, it should be the best (wo)man for the job.
I am a firm believer that in the future, we will see more female leaders in colorful clothes leading the most succesful businesses..
I say more individualism.. in every context.
and if there’s gender quotas in board of directions - then I am sure that the right women are chosen for the job, as well as the right men…

I am currently working on some scribblings about “stories” that I want to have published on Change This!
anyway I am sitting here with my WIFI shut off not to be disturbed - and out comes this - I don’t know if I can use it for the publication - BUT I didn’t think that you ( dear reader) should be without it…
“So, In Real Life relations is always going to be more important than what is happening in the media and online. Technology is great – but I am a firm believer that if it doesn’t go hand in hand with relations – and people can’t see what they can use it for, it is never going to be on a day to day level. People aren’t going to incorporate it, they are just going to know that there’s something out there called technology. Period. Something people in white gowns is working with in labs. Now I would go so far to state that technology isn’t rocket science. Well a part of technology is. But human relations technology ( or web) isn’t rocket science. It’s the opposite because everybody can do it. So people should stop acting like web is rocket science…it’s not. It’s not even business. I would claim that it comes close to philosophy and mentality. But actually it’s pure and simple; human interaction.
And to make it a bit more fun – I would claim that it is a playground.”crossposted on
